Yonhap News reporter in Naju, Song Hyung-il reveals that KEPCO KDN announced on the 1st of September that it will hold the '5th Bitgaram (빛가람) Energy Valley ICT & Security Conference' in which specialized companies in the field of information and communication technology (ICT) and cyber security participate on September 16.
The conference, which is held online, has been increasing annually by participating companies and visitors since 2016. Last year alone, 37 companies including global companies and Korean small and medium-sized companies, plus 2,000 people participated in the representative ICT conference in the Gwangju-Jeonnam area. However, this year it will be held as a real-time online event through a YouTube channel due to the influence of COVID-19.
Expert lectures and seminars will be held on topics such as D.N.A (Data Network AI) and smart security, which are attracting attention as core technologies in the post-corona era.
In the first session, three keynote lectures will be held, including the direction of the Korean version of the 'new deal' through examples of global solutions and the strategy of performing digital transformation in the non-face-to-face life. In the afternoon, 14 specialized seminars will be run related to cloud, artificial intelligence, and smart security based on intelligence.
KEPCO KDN explained that it is expected that it will be an opportunity to experience the latest solutions and trends in the non-face-to-face era for related industry workers and college students.
