Song Gwang-ho, a Yonhap News reporter in Seoul, shared that on the 2nd of September the performance agency Credia announced that it will convert the duo concert of violinist Clara Jumi Kang and pianist Son Yeol-eum into an online performance at the Lotte Concert Hall in Jamsil.
Joumi Kang and Son Yeol-eum will perform five melodies for Prokofiev violin and piano, as well as Ravel's violin sonata, Strauss violin sonata, and Stravinsky divertimento. The performance will be broadcast live for free through the YouTube Credia TV channel from 7:50 pm on September 4 (KST time).
The Seoul Opera Ensemble will perform Bizet's opera 'Carmen' at the Lotte Concert Hall in Jamsil on the 15th. Carmen is an artpiece depicting the tragic love between Don Jose - the guard, and Carmen - a gypsy woman in Seville, Spain in the 19th century. Mezzo-soprano Jo Mi-kyung plays Carmen, and tenor Seong-hwa Um plays Don Jose.
Audience seats are operated on a distance-based seating order. Out of 2,000 seats, only 7 seats are still open. Admission fee is 30,000~120,000 Korean won.
The National Theater announced on the 2nd that it will cancel the performance of the National Gugak Orchestra's 'Noon Concert September' and the National Dance Company's 'Five O' performances scheduled for the 17th to 20th of this month. The theater explained that this was due to the strengthening of the second-stage measures to keep social distances in the metropolitan area.
Ticket cancellation will be made without any additional cancellation fees.
